Ground screw system with 150mm timber base  – Why not let us take all the stress out of your building groundworks. Our in-house ground screw system has little to no impact on your garden. Screws range from 500mm – 1500mm depth. No digging, no mess just a solid foundation to sit your new building on. It also means buildings can be fitted on uneven ground with ease.

This allows SHEDBOX to be a turn-key supplier for your new building.

Concrete base – With or without steel reinforcement dependant on use of your building we use graded steel reinforcement on all medium to large building bases.

Standard base construction requires –

1) 200 mm construction type 1 mot hardcore sub base.

2) Once compacted a damp course plastic sheeting is laid over the MOT to ensure no rising damp.

3) 142 steel mesh rienforcing sheets inserted within the shuttering over the top of the damp plastic.

4) 100mm c40 concrete. (150-200mm concrete dept option if more weight is being loaded i.e car lift / multiple heavy suv’s)

A floated finish will esure a smooth paintable floor. Addition wooden floors can be added on top if insulation is reqiured.
