Can our vehicles reach the property?
Gates, narrow lanes, low branches, restricted entrances and tight driveways are worth discussing before delivery. If access looks unusual, tell us about it early.
Delivery needs working room too.
We may need suitable space for the delivery vehicle, building sections and installation team while the building is being unloaded and assembled.

Yes. ShedBox delivers buildings nationwide from our Shropshire workshop. Tell us where your project is located when you enquire so delivery can be considered as part of the project.
How much does delivery cost?
Delivery is charged at £3.00 per mile. The delivery requirements and applicable charge can be confirmed as part of your project before transport is arranged.
Do ShedBox install the building when it arrives?
Yes, where installation is included in your project. The building is delivered in pre-made sections and our team can assemble it on the prepared site to the agreed specification.
Is self-build delivery available?
Yes, for suitable projects. If you would prefer the building to be supplied for self-assembly rather than installed by ShedBox, discuss this with us when planning the project.
Does the building arrive fully assembled?
No. ShedBox buildings are manufactured in sections before being transported to site. This allows the components to be delivered and then assembled in their final position.
Do I need good vehicle access to the site?
Yes. Suitable access and working space are important for delivery. Gates, narrow lanes, tight driveways, low branches and other restrictions should be discussed with us before delivery is arranged.
What if access to my property is difficult?
Tell us before delivery day. Difficult access does not automatically mean the project cannot proceed, but we need to understand the site. Photographs, measurements and details of the restrictions can help us discuss what may be required.
Should I send photographs of the access?
Yes, if there is anything unusual about the site. Photographs of gates, driveways, parking areas and the route to the building position can help us understand potential restrictions before the building is scheduled for delivery.
Will more than one vehicle be needed?
Sometimes. The number of vehicles required depends on the size of the building, the amount being transported and the requirements of the individual project.
Does the base need to be ready before installation?
Yes. The appropriate base or foundation needs to be ready before the building is installed. ShedBox can also handle the groundworks as part of the wider project, so the preparation and installation can be coordinated together.

Do I need to prepare anything before delivery day?
Yes. Any agreed site preparation should be complete and the access route should be available for the delivery and installation team. We can discuss the requirements for your particular project beforehand so you know what needs to be ready.
