C16 CLS timber, 40mm x 60mm.

Roof

EPDM rubber roofing, offering excellent resistance to UV exposure, ozone and ageing. Designed to remain flexible through temperature changes and building movement, with minimal maintenance requirements.

Purlins

C24/26 pressure-tested, dry-graded timber, specified as 4 x 2 inch / 6 x 2 inch sections.

Framing Fixings

Heavy-duty 100mm zinc twin-thread fixings.

Plinth / Ring Beam

60mm x 40mm high-pressure-treated Redwood sleepers, providing substantial floor support and helping protect the base structure.

Exterior Cladding

Custom ShedBox profile, imported Scandinavian Western Cedar half-lap cladding, 19mm thick. Fixed using 40mm ring-shank coil nails, with 18 fixing points along the cladding as specified.

External Roof Boarding

18mm Kronospan OSB3 boarding, 2397mm x 1197mm sheets, included as standard.

Waterproof Panel Membrane

High-density polyethylene breathable membrane providing wind and water resistance while allowing moisture vapour to escape. Sd-value: 0.01m. CE marked; BBA Certificate 90/2548.

Insulation & Interior

Insulation

30mm Celotex insulation applied to the walls and ceiling.

Internal Boarding

9mm moisture-resistant MDF boarding applied to the walls and ceiling.

Heavy-Duty Marine Plywood Floor

18mm marine plywood flooring with pressure-treated load-bearing support timbers.

Internal Trim Kit

Anthracite PVC trimming and timber mouldings applied to internal board joints, corners, windows and doors.
