Exterior Cladding

Custom ShedBox profile, tanalised Scandinavian Redwood half-lap cladding, 125mm wide x 22mm thick.

Internal Boarding

9mm moisture-resistant MDF applied to the walls and ceiling.

25mm Celotex insulation applied to the walls and ceiling.

Waterproof Panel Membrane

Lightweight, breathable membrane made from high-density polyethylene fibres. Wind-tight and water-resistant, with high water-vapour permeability (Sd value: 0.01m). Can be fitted directly to insulation and helps improve airtightness.
CE marked; BBA, IAB and UKAS approved. BBA certificate: 90/2548.

Flooring

50mm x 90mm pressure-treated timber joists supported on battens to allow airflow. Finished with 18mm Hexa birch-core flooring with a plastic-coated, non-slip surface.

Additional Features

Plinth Bearers

Optional pressure-treated Redwood ring-beam bearers, machined to suit the building dimensions. Raise untreated framing timbers off the ground. Fully supported flooring can be added to orders when this option is selected.

Ground Anchor Kit

175mm Thunderbolt concrete screw fixings secure the building to a concrete floor and allow it to be damp-sealed. Ground anchor kits are required for all porch and overhang upright posts. Please contact ShedBox for details and to confirm whether the kit is included.

External Corner Trim Kit

Anthracite Grey plastic-coated tin trims with an eased-edge profile, applied to external corners and roof edges.

Internal Trim Kit

Wooden mouldings applied to board joints, corners, windows and doors.

High Flow Gutter Kit

Black high-flow guttering to direct rainwater away from the building and reduce water collecting around the base.

Build & Installation

Self Build

Supplied in prefabricated panels with all materials required for assembly. Panels and apex sections are built by skilled tradespeople, and a qualified joiner will explain the full assembly process when the building arrives.
