Construction Specifications

Roof Covering

Low-maintenance EPDM rubber roofing, resistant to ozone, UV radiation and ageing. Remains flexible down to -45°C and can elongate by over 300% to accommodate building movement and temperature changes.

C16 CLS pressure-treated timber, 40mm x 90mm.

C16/C24 pressure-treated timber, 40mm x 140mm.

Exterior Cladding

Custom ShedBox profile, tanalised Scandinavian Redwood half-lap cladding, 125mm wide x 22mm thick, with a castle profile. Fitted vertically.

External Roof Boarding

18mm Kronospan OSB3 boards, 2397mm x 1197mm.

Waterproof Panel Membrane

Lightweight, breathable membrane made from high-density polyethylene fibres. Wind-tight and water-resistant, with high water-vapour permeability (Sd value: 0.01m). Can be fitted directly to insulation and helps improve airtightness.
CE marked; BBA, IAB and UKAS approved. BBA certificate: 90/2548.

Fully Insulated Floor

50mm x 90mm pressure-treated timber joists supported on battens to allow airflow. Finished with 18mm Hexa birch-core flooring with a plastic-coated, non-slip surface. Includes 30mm Celotex insulation.

Anthracite Grey plastic-coated tin trims with an eased-edge profile, applied to external corners and roof edges.

High Flow Gutter Kit

Black high-flow guttering fitted along the rear of the building to direct rainwater away and reduce water collecting around the base.

Self Build

Supplied in prefabricated panels with all materials required for assembly. Panels are built by skilled tradespeople, and a qualified joiner will explain the full assembly process when the building arrives.
